The Marjorie McNeely Conservatory and Visitor Center offer unique venues to showcase local musicals and lecturers. These series would also offer the venue in times outside of the standard public hours and introduces the arts to a new audience.
Free music series kicks off January 5, 2014
Beat the “winter-blahs” by boogying to some blues, bluegrass, and ballads in the tropical Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. For the second year in a row, Como Park Zoo & Conservatory presents “Music Under Glass,” a free concert series inside the Conservatory’s two-acres of tropical gardens. Featuring a perfect blend of musical styling, “Music Under Glass” will showcase live, local musicians from 4:30-6:30pm beginning January 5 and continuing every Sunday through March 2. Beer and wine will be available to purchase.
