Have a birthday bash to remember at Como!
It's the only place that let's you party like an animal and leave the cleaning to us! We now offer six unique party themes - each with live animal and/or plant visitors, or a personal tour of a featured animal exhibit (public area). We can even provide pizza and cake, so the only party planning you need to think about is when to come!

PARTY THEMES

The following party themes are age appropriate for children age 3 and older.
  • ROCKIN' REPTILES - Meet live reptiles like snakes, lizards, and turtles
  • BUGGY BIRTHDAY - Meet live insects, spiders and other cool bugs
  • BOTANY AND THE BEAST - Meet a variety of live animals and plants which share a connection in nature

The following party themes are age appropriate for children age 4 and older.

  • CRAZY ABOUT CATS - Includes personal tour of lion, tiger, cougar, and snow leopard exhibits (public area)
  • PARTY WITH THE PRIMATES - Includes personal tour of orangutan, gorilla, lemur, and monkey exhibits (public area)
  • NEW! SPLISH, SPLASH, AQUATIC ANIMALS - Includes personal tour of seal/sea lion, penguin, puffin, and fish exhibits (public area)

PARTY PACKAGES

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date.

BASIC PARTY PACKAGE includes

  • Use of a birthday party space in the Visitor Center decorated for your party
  • A 45-minute educational program with interactive activities, animal and/or plants visitors, or a personal tour of a featured exhibit
  • An additional 45-minute time period for your personal birthday celebration

Cost: $185.00 for up to 15 guests, $4.00 for each additional guest (everyone in the room is counted - maximum of 40).


PARTY PLUS PACKAGES includes:

  • Use of a birthday party space in the Visitor Center decorated for your party
  • A 45-minute educational program with interactive activities and animal and/or plants visitors, or a personal tour of a featured exhibit
  • An additional 45-minute time period for your personal birthday celebration
  • Pizza, cake, beverages, and birthday themed paper products

Cost: $250.00 for up to 15 guests, $6.00 for each additional guest (everyone in the room is counted - maximum of 40).

SPONSOR-AN-ANIMAL CERTIFICATE
Choose any animal at Como Zoo to sponsor! The Sponsor-an-Animal Certificate includes a personalized certificate, an animal information sheet and a photo of the animal you choose.
Cost: $5.00 each

GIFT BAGS
Como's birthday party gift bags are theme based and include age appropriate items such as stuffed animals, postcards, pencils, erasers and small toys. Gift bags are specially put together by our staff at Como's Garden Safari Gifts.
Cost: $5.00 each

For the safety reasons, balloons, pinatas and and gifts of live animals are not allowed on zoo grounds.
