The Japanese Garden is a secluded, serene outdoor garden available for private rental from May 1st through September 30th. The beautiful waterfall and reflecting pond provide a one-of-a-kind setting for 35-40 people standing (no chairs are provided). Rental times are in one-hour increments. There is no electricity available. Clients and guests may use the restrooms in the Conservatory. Contact the Wedding and Facility Rentals Department for details about rain backup options, parking details and the private garden entrance. 2007 Rates* for Ceremonies in the Japanese Garden 2008 Rates* for Ceremonies in the Japanese Garden *All rentals require a refundable damage deposit not included in the fee quoted above. Damage deposits are generally returned to you two to three weeks following your rental. Please report any changes of address and/or phone numbers to the Wedding & Rental department promptly. Without exception, private functions are not allowed during public hours. The gardens are available for rent before and after public hours only.
