·ADULT LIBRARY PROGRAM

Our new, adult library programs feature conservation-based topics that teach adults about cultures, plants and animals from around the world.  Programs are approximately 30 to 45 minutes in length and each one contains plant and animal visitors.  The cost per program is $200, with a firm limit of 100 people.

Como currently offers 1 library program for adults:

Conservation Hot Topics: Frogs

A summary of Conservation Hot Topics: Frogs is as follows:  From myth and medicine to the dinner plate, frogs play an important role in culture and are an integral part of a healthy ecosystem; yet their populations around the world are declining at an alarming rate.  Come learn about the dangers facing frog species around the world, what is being done to save frogs, and how you can be a part of frog conservation efforts.

We understand that libraries are often open spaces, and due to animal requirements, we ask for a presentation area against a solid surface such as a wall, bookcase, or in a corner.  We also request a large table to hold props, plants and animals for the program.
