Instructor: Vera Wong

Papers:
-Sketch pad, at least 9" x 12"
-Used (failed) watercolors
-Miscellaneous papers w/ interesting colors &/or textures

Drawing Tools:
-Pencil (Regular "No. 2", HB, 2B, or 4B; woodcase or mechanical)
-Eraser: Kneaded &/or White Vinyl
-Gel Pen or Fiberpoint pen (e.g., Coptic, Niji Pigma, FaberCastell, etc.)
-Watercolor Brush OR Niji Waterbrush (round; sm, lg or mini)
-Optional: Color pencils or watercolors

Tools:
-Post-it tape (1/2" - 1" wide) &/or Artist's Tape (white, 1/2" - 3/4")
-Glue-stick &/or other non-acidic reversible glue that works on paper
(not glue gun or superglue)
-Ruler: 12"-15", stainless steel, English (inches) and Metric
(centimeters).
-Optional: Ruler: 15 cm (6"), stainless steel, all metric or English on
one edge, metric on the other. (UofM bookstores)
-X-acto knife (w/case, sheath, or retractable)
-Scissors
-Utility knife
-Optional: Portable plastic cutting board or old cardboard for cutting on.
