Programs for 3s are designed for children age 3 with an adult partner. These programs encourage family learning and foster environmental awareness. When applicable, live plant or animal encounters will be included in class.

FEATHERY FRIENDS FOR 3S - NEW!
What do birds eat? How do feathers feel? Why did the chicken cross the road? Gather your flock to learn the parts of a bird, meet a live bird, decorate your very own "bird-noculars" and have other feathery fun. You'd be cuckoo to miss this class!

FINDING FALL FOR 3s
Squirrels are frantically gathering nuts, leaves are changing colors and birds are beginning to fly south. Be a detective as we search for fall on an exploration hike, meet some amazing animals, participate in discovery time and more. Then, you can search for signs of fall in your own neighborhood!

TERRIFIC TAILS FOR 3s
What does a lizard do if it loses its tail? It goes to a “re-tail“ store! Short tails, long tails, hairy tails, and scaly tails – there sure are a variety! High “tail” it to Como to play “tail dress-up,” read a tall tale and make a wacky tail to take home.

GOING BUGGY FOR 3s
What game do ants play with elephants? Squash! Fly, hop, crawl, swim, or buzz on over to learn what makes a bug a bug! We’ll discover if spiders are insects and if all ladybugs are girls too. Play a game of “Buggy Bingo,” build a bug, meet some BIG bugs, eat some “bug food,” and other creepy, crawly fun. It will be bug-tastic!
