VOTED "BEST DAY CAMP" AT
NICKELODEON'S 2008 PARENTS' PICKS AWARDS!
Como’s camps focus on expanding each child’s appreciation for the
natural
world while meeting zookeepers and gardeners, having
“behind- the-scenes” experiences and meeting Como’s plant
and animal ambassadors up-close!
Camps are half-day sessions, but are set up so that all-day adventures
are available by taking two camps in the same week
within the same age group.
A supervised lunch period is available for “all-day” campers.
These campers should bring a bag lunch. Boxed lunches are also
available
to purchase.
Extended care sessions are available prior to the start of a morning
camp
and/or at the end of an afternoon camp.
Extended care fee: $7/session.
Approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of camp, registered campers
will receive a camp information/confirmation packet in the mail.
Included in packet are sign up forms for extended care and
orders for box lunches.
Box lunch fee: $6/lunch
Children are accepted into age-appropriate camps based on the
grade each
child will have completed by the end of the
'09-'10 school year.
*A discounted rate is available for Como Friends
