Registration Deadlines: Registrations are taken up to 48 hours prior to start of class or until class is full.

Confirmations : Confirmations are sent out either by email, mail or phone. Registrations received just prior to a class/program may or may not receive confirmation or other important information due to time constraints.

Refunds: Refunds will be issued per the following criteria:

  • No refunds will be issued for any single registration costing $10.00 or less.
  • An administrative fee will be withheld for refund requests received more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled event.
  • No refunds will be given for refund requests 48 hours or less prior to the scheduled event.
  • There is a one-time rescheduling option if requested at least 48 hours before your scheduled program.
  • Rescheduling must be within the same category as originally registered.
  • Full refunds will issued if Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Education is unable to provide the full service for which a fee was originally collected.

Class Cancellation : The Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Education Department reserves the right to cancel classes if minimum numbers of enrollments are not met. A decision will be made approximately 48 hours prior to the start of the class, at which time all registrants will be notified. Full refunds will be issued.

Closings Due to Bad Weather : Once a decision is made to cancel a class/program, based on weather reports and as determined by the program coordinator, attempts will be made to contact all registered class participants. You will be notified of any make up classes at a later date. Class participants may also call 651-487-8272 for details. Day and evening phone numbers should be submitted at time of registration to ensure the chances of being contacted

Memberships: Como Zoo and Conservatory Society members receive a 10% discounted rate on Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Education classes (limited to one botanical or zoological art and illustration class per annual membership).
