Parking

Download Como Map for the location of our parking lots. There are a number of parking lots throughout the Como Regional Park area. Shuttle service will resume in 2015.

Beginning May 1st residential permit parking restrictions will be in effect.  There will be no parking allowed on many streets west of Como Park from 10am-4pm, May 1-September 30 without a City issued permit . Do not park on streets with signs indicating “Permit Parking Only”.

Many institutions & destinations in St. Paul, such as colleges and heavily visited shopping areas, have permit parking in & around the surrounding neighborhoods.  Permit parking was sought after by the surrounding residents and implemented by Saint Paul City Council in 2011.  Como Park Zoo & Conservatory recognizes & respects that the parking outside of the park should be easily accessible and obtainable for residents.

Stroller/Wheelchair Rental

Strollers and wheelchairs are available for rent at Garden Safari Gifts . Single-seat strollers and wheelchairs are available for $4 per day. Double-seat strollers are available for $6.50 per day.  Scooters are $20 per day. If you rent either one, we require to hold onto either keys, credit card, or a drivers license. Some type of collateral, such as a driver’s license, is required and will be held at Garden Safari Gifts during the rental period. All rentals must be returned to Garden Safari Gifts before the Zoo and Conservatory close.

Bus & Bike

Avoid traffic and reduce your carbon footprint by taking Metro Transit or riding your bike to Como!

Route 3 and Route 83 provide direct service to the park. The METRO Green Line provides service on University Avenue between downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis.
