Como Park Zoo and Conservatory features many fascinating connections between humans, plants and animals. Como’s mission is to inspire the public to value the presence of living things on our lives. Annually more than 30 interns and 1300 volunteers work in partnership with staff to promote the mission of Como. Interns gain valuable career building opportunities within Como’s unique zoological and botanical environment and are a critical component in assisting staff to ensure excellence in animal and plant management, public education and visitor services. Your involvement can have a long term impact! Intern opportunities are offered year round in some areas and seasonally in others.
